Default Can I Turn Off 'My Calendars' help-pane (2007)

Try resetting the View menu. Uncheck whatever looks like the My Calendars
column, if there is one or uncheck the Navigation Pane and try that. You can
change the location--top, bottom, sides-- of the columns, too. If you place
the Calendars on the left side, you can adjust the width of the column. More
solutions here as well as examples:

Using Outlook 2007, my calendar view displays months (calendars) at the top,
navigation shortcuts at the bottom (to Mail, Contacts, etc.) but also has a
white section titled "My Calendars", with some hyperlinks, in the middle,
and the 'All Calendar Items' bar at the top.

I want to switch off this 'My Calendars' section, to make more room to
display more months (I know I could show more months by widening the pane,
but I don't want to).

Does anyone know how I get rid of this section please?

Thanks

Michelle

You can't remove My calendars - you can minimize it (and the other calendar
sections). click on the little arrows to hide the calendars.

I hope you don't mind me posting directly to you. For some reason, my posts
haven't shown up in the group (although I have posted this to the group
too). It's the section below My Calendars that I want to get rid of or
minimise. I've attached a jpeg to illustrate the bit I want to lose. It's
not infected, but please scan it before opening.

I really appreciate your help.

Thanks
Michelle
