Default Appointments in Outlook 2003 are wrong

When I add new appointments to my calendar some of them are turned into
recurring appointments upon saving. If I try to go into the appointment and
remove the recurrance, I am able to do so; but when I go back to check the
appointment it has returned to a recurring appointment. This same thing
happened when I tried to make an "all day" appointment. Does anyone have a
fix for this problem instead of removing the Media Direct "OutlookAddinSetup"
program? I would appreciate any help you can offer.

Except fopr removing the program causing the problem (Outlookaddinsetup),
there is no fix. Why don't you want to remove it? I've never heard of
anyone who did remove it having problems because it was gone.
