Default Export sub calendar to Excel

I have Outlook 2007 on Exchange 2003. I have a 2nd calendar I keep for
billable hours. I would like to export that to an Excel spreas sheet to pass
off to the person responsible for billing. When I go through the export
process Outlook crashes. does not matter if I try a PST CSV or XLS, or XLSX.
Any ideas?

Copy and paste?

Create a view with the fields you need, the copy and paste into excel.

That works if I change the view but it would be better as an export.

Do all exports fail or just this folder? Do you have a lot of recurring
events with exceptions in it? Did you try detect and repair (office
diagnostics)?
