I work in a large company where an effective conf. room scheduling mechanism
has been set up via OUTLOOK.
However - the length of the names of the conf. rooms IT set up in OUTLOOK
are very long (27+ characters long!) and this will not be changed.
PROBLEM: when I do Meeting request, and hit the SCHEDULE TAB, and enter the
overarching Outlook name (and hit EXPAND DL)
it puts all 11 rooms, but since the names are 27+ characters, the
SCHEDULE TAB window cuts off at around 23 characters - so the last characters
(KEY - these tell you which room) do not show! Yes, i can hover over them,
but this is time consuming. Is there a way to easily enlarge that window?
Or create my own alias (or something) for the company definied rooms? IT
won't change the 27+ characters as it is a company mandate.
Example:
CONF ROOM LIST BUILDING ABC (main - this expands to below...)
CONF ROOM LIST BUILDING/ ABC ROOM1 (room 1)
CONF ROOM LIST BUILDING/ ABC ROOM2 (room 2, etc)
in the scheduling window, it cuts off at "/" and you can't see CONF1,
CONF2, etc.
