Default Office 2007 declined your meeting because it is recurring.

I have a resource on Exchange 2003 SP2 and I am on Vista Business x32 and
Outlook 2007 and Created the resource and set it up to have Resource
Scheduling under Calendar Options, for Automatic accept meeting requests and
process cancellations. I also have Automatic decline conflicting meetng
request. I tried it witout the conflict and it didn't matter. Not sure if I
need to wait 30 minutes for it to get throught the system.
I am on an HP dc5750 small form factor system.

I looked at KB: support.microsoft.com/kb/817420 but that didn't help me as I
am on an advanced version.

I am looking for ONE meeting, at ... x hour, only once.
I am putting myself as the required and the conference room as the resource,
I also tried to have it required too.

So you aren't trying to make a recurring meeting? Are you using a dell
laptop? If so, see http://www.slipstick.com/problems/recurringmeetings.htm

Diane, thank you for replying, sadly I am using, as I stated, an HP system,
I am on an HP dc5750 small form factor system.

not a Dell Laptop.

Do you have anything for an HP desktop system? Any reason why this problem
was not fixed in Office 2007 when the problem was on previous office
application versions / releases?

Matt
