Default How do I change default recurrence for calendar items?

Calendar items accepted in Outlook are always set up as recurring items, even
though the item was not sent as a recurring item. How do I keep this from
happening?

This solution did not work for me. Any other thoughts on how to fix
it?

Isn't the Outlookadinsetup an .exe file? It seems that you would need
to remove the actual addin and not just the .exe file.

To date, that add-in has been the sole cause of the problem you describe.

It's not an Outlook add-in per se, but an application that purportedly
allows using Windows Media features without having to wait for Windows to
boot. Uninstalling the app in Add or Remove programs will, of course,
remove the EXE file and any of its attendant DLLs.
