One of our users is unable to accept or decline meeting requests. She can
send the request from her computer to another person and they can accept her request, but she is not able to accept or decline requests from other people. The requests come in the form of an email, but do not automatically transfer to her calendar or allow her to rewspond to the request. Does anyone have an answer or fix for this problem? Thanks. Does the user see the Accept/Decline buttons? What happens when she clicks them? What version of Outlook? Exchange as the mail server?

I am having exactly the same problem and have not seen too much on this
topic. I am using Exchange 2003 (Just upgraded to SP2) and all clients are Outlook 2003 running on XP. Also the XP machine having the problem was recently upgraded from 2000 to XP Pro. The messages are all internal but cannot be accepted. The buttons on the invite are all there, but they seem to have no affect when clicked. This occurs if I click Accept, Tent. or Decline. Also not working in the Actions menu either?? |

Jeff's situation and environment is the same as ours in the office.
I fixed the user's problem. For some reason, she personally did not have the correct permissions to accept meeting notices. (Somehow those permissions had changed.) After I set her up with the correct permissions, her calendar and e-mail have been working good. " wrote: I am having exactly the same problem and have not seen too much on this topic.
