Default date is displayed twice on each day in outlook calendar

For some unknown reason Outlook displays the date twice on each day. I would
appreciate if anyone can tell me how to get this back to the default display
of just one date on each day. I know it sounds crazy but its happened!

Control Panel-Regional Settings. Check how you have your dates displayed
there.
