Cancelled meetings do not automatically get removed from resource
We are running Auto Accept Agent for resource mailboxes on Exchange Server
2003. It works great for us except for cancelled meetings. When a user who is the organizer of a meeting wants to cancel the meeting everything works correctly but the meeting stays on the resources calendar (in this case a conference room) as 'Cancelled: Original meeting subject'. The original meeting time slot for the resource is reversed and now free but my users consider the cancelation note as clutter. Is there a way to configure Auto Accept Agent to automatically 'Remove from Calendar' the resources' notation for that meeting? Currently, I have the users going into the resources calendar and removing from calendar as a second step.

I am having the same issue. I want a MS only solution. but I did find
this 3rd party one that MS supports. http://www.swinc.com/products/ ERM/

We use a server side agent to do some of the things this tool is doing. Look
