Is the server an Exchange Server? If so, why are you using a PST as opposed
to an Offline Folder file (OST)

I guess that was assumed - yes - Exchange. Its an IT Manager and they said
they had it working before. I just don't know how they managed to get it
working. they don't trust OST b/c of possible corruption and want a backup of
all appointments.

thx

The OST & PST corruption would be the same. PSTs & OST are just about the
same format (if not exactly the same), it's just that OSTs allow for having
a synchronized copy of the user's mailbox.
