I have just completed setting up a new outlook account on a new
computer with a new installation of Outlook 2003. I loaded the software from the cd and all updates from Microsoft web page to my laptop. I then created an account to copy and keep synchronized with the server with cache on server turned on. At some point, I also reviewed sharing my calendar but did not turn it on. Somehow, between the creation and today (about 3 days) while setting everything up, i started noticing that single instance meeting invitations are converted to recurring meetings when i select the accept button. This occurs whether I use outlook on my laptop or web mail from any computer. Does anyone have any idea: 1) what causes the conversion to recurring entries and / or 2) how to correct so i only get one instance of a meeting on my calendar if the sender does not specify a recurrance Thanks so much for your help! |
