Default Calendar Invites Not Showing UP

My Outlook 2002 doesn't seem to be able to accept or decline calendar
invites; for example, when I receive a calendar invite, the invite just looks
like an empty email with no option for me to accept or decline.

Any ideas? It's driving me crazy, and I can't seem to find any solution out
here in the expanse of the web.

Is the icon a calendar icon or envelope? Are you using exchange server and
if so, are they invites coming from others on your exchange server?

Default Calendar Invites Not Showing UP

I've just noticed a few more details about my issue:

- I am pulling mail into Outlook 2002/XP via IMAP;
- The icon is an envelope when the mail arrives in my inbox;
- I've noticed that when I move the item in question to another folder, and
then access the item in the new folder, the calendar invite functions, and I
have the option of accepting/declining the invite; I cannot do the same when
the item remains in the inbox;
- The invites (so far) are coming from people who are on the same
IMAP/exchange server, i.e. from our school's .edu domain.

Thanks in advance.

it's an issue with the imap account. it should work if the message is
completely downloaded, but if not, you'll have to keep doing the move
routine before accepting or declining.
