My Outlook 2002 doesn't seem to be able to accept or decline calendar
invites; for example, when I receive a calendar invite, the invite just looks like an empty email with no option for me to accept or decline. Any ideas? It's driving me crazy, and I can't seem to find any solution out here in the expanse of the web. -Tony |

Is the icon a calendar icon or envelope? Are you using exchange server and
if so, are they invites coming from others on your exchange server? -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Coauthor, OneNote 2003 for Windows (Visual QuickStart Guide) Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "Tony" wrote in message ... I've just noticed a few more details about my issue:
- I am pulling mail into Outlook 2002/XP via IMAP; - The icon is an envelope when the mail arrives in my inbox; - I've noticed that when I move the item in question to another folder, and then access the item in the new folder, the calendar invite functions, and I have the option of accepting/declining the invite; I cannot do the same when the item remains in the inbox; - The invites (so far) are coming from people who are on the same IMAP/exchange server, i.e. from our school's .edu domain. Thanks in advance. -Tony "Diane Poremsky [MVP]" wrote: Is the icon a calendar icon or envelope?
