Default 2003 Calendar Custom Views Refreshing and Applying

Hi,

I have found only a few references to this.
Here's a solution of sorts that might help some users.

If you run multiple calendars (e.g. other users and public calendars)
then the custom views do not change according to the calender you are
currently "in" (i.e. the one that a new appointment would be posted to)
You can see from the title bar of Outlook that it still thinks it is
"in" the calendar that was first opened.

Prior to this morning the only fix I had was to select the calender you
wish to work with and then go to the inbox and back to calendars.

I just found that if you right-click on the required calendar and
choose "Open" then Outlook does move to that calendar and apply custom
views correctly. Hurrah.

A further problem with this bug is that the current views filter is
applied to all the calendars that you can see. This removes items from
the other calendars in an unexpected manner. It also overrides the
automatic colour formatting for each calendar.

The Office team needs to do some more work in this area as it renders a
really nice user interface confusing to the end-user.

Simon
