Default Outlook connector was working

If you are a Premium MSN subscriber, and use the use Connector to sync with
your MSN calendar, be very careful about updating to Outlook Connector 12.1.
The new version only works with Windows Live calendar, and when we upgraded,
it would not transfer the MSN calendar over, so we lost all our appointments
(hundreds of them!).

If we try to use the older 12.0 Connector, then the original problem comes
back of not being able to get any new emails or calendar updates, and so we
still lose all our calendar information locally (and are forced to only use
it through the web site).

If the MSN team would just fix the original issue that started on 7/22,
there may still be hope, but so far, it is still broken.

Outlook Connector. A second hotmail account works fine sending and receiving
email through the connector and Outlook 2007. Browser access to the primary
email account is fine. No apparent errors in Outlook send/receive log now.
There were errors last week about not being able to connect to the account,
but they are no longer there.

Yeah using the beta 12.1 got mine working as well. No problems to date but it
has only been a day since I upgraded to this version. Would really like to
know what this problem was because it was really irratating.

Default Outlook connector was working

It sounds like I'm padding in circles in the same crazy river with the rest
here.

Notes wouldn't sync. Then I noticed that Calendar and Contacts wouldn't
either.

Email? Where did it go? Had to go outside Outlook to get incoming email,
but Outlook was sending. What the..?

Deleted two core accounts. Set them up under beta 12.1. Nope. Notes
dead, even though it lists the dead folder under that email. Calendar too.
No joy -- no sync.

Removed the Beta 12.1

Installed v 12.0.1518.1068

Added email accounts creating HTTP accounts instead of MAPI. Those acounts
and able to send and receive but the attached notes etc are not synced.

I realize that the MAPI version is beta, but it's a mess. And there are no
solid answers. Not even stripping things out and reinstalling helps.
Folders are gone from one computer yet show up on two others, both in beta.

I sure hope that someone gets a handle on this and soon.

I'm unable to locate the version of outlook connector you reference below.
Can you provide a link to it? Thank you. I'm still having all the same
problems as the rest of you. No sending email, no calendar syncing, etc. And,
I lost all of my online appts. Has anyone found a fix to this yet?

I am having the same problem. I use office 2007 upstairs and use my wireless
lap top downstairs with msn premium to access my email/calendar. emails are
exchanging back and forth no problems there, but the calendar will not. I
tried going thru hotmail's server and emails there are ok but the calendar is
not. So am not sure what is going on that emails exchange ok but my calendar
on office 2007 won't budge!!!! LOL

Seems we are all having this issue. Am sure the 'team msn' is working on
this and one day when we least expect it, the calendar will be full!
Irritating as it is!!!!!!!
