Copy all of the WAB files from your CD to a folder on your Desktop. Then
open that folder, right click all the WAB files and make sure the
"Read-Only" attribute set when a file is copied to a CD is cleared. Then
double click each wab file in turn until you find the one with the contacts
you are looking for. Then open your existing Address Book (Start/Run/All
Programs/Accessories/Address Book) and use the Address Book menu to import
from the older WAB file. Should work.

I'm still struggling with getting the addressbook. I did a search on .wab
on the new computer and ended up with a listing of 4 files and wasn't sure
what was what. I exported to a comma delimited text file from the old
computer to a CD and tried to import from that CD to the new computer. I
get
an import error. Msg doesn't give me any more information than that so
I'm
not sure what the problem is. I'll try again to import from the files I
found when I did the .wab search on the new computer. Maybe one of them
will
work. Otherwise, I'm at a loss. I'll let you know what I come up with.

thought I
might also be able to export the email and address book from the old
computer
and import to the new, but I can't seem to get this to work either.
