user hit the 2gb limit on her PST file. we created a new OL2003 PST,
then imported all info from the old PST.

Never import from a PST. You lose data, with DLs being one of the fragile
objects. It's rare that a Distrobution List will import or export
unscathed. Instead, open the PST with FileOpenOutlook Data File. You can
then open that PST's contacts and drag the DL to the default.
