Default Addresses in contacts folder not in address book

In the Contacts folder the names and email addresses are there. The Outlook
address book is empty. I hope I am explaining this correctly.

That doesn't fit. Internet Mail Only does not use the Outlook Address Book
and contains no "Show Names From" box. It uses the Windows Address Book.
Describe again what you see in the Address Book view.

You need to post a more accurate account of your version: include your

support mode (line 2 of Help | About if you don't know).

I have names and addresses in my contacts folder but none in my address
book. When I try to use address book the "Show Names In" is blank with
no
options to select the "Contacts" folder.
