What are your View Settings? Try changing them to View/Current View/Show
All Messages. If that does not do it, then you may have to use some other
means of accessing the server (web interface available?) to mark the
messages you wish to download as unread, though I would first be concerned
that they may not be retained on the server. In any case, contact the host
for your IMAP server and find out what your options are. We have no idea.
