Default Import OE6 messages into OE5?

Why not just copy the existing message store contents (all of its DBX files)
to a CD or other type of media and restoring it to your new system? See the
info at this link for more about backup/restore operations for Outlook
Express:

Is it feasible to import a message store created in OE6 (WinXP) into
OE5 (Win95)? This would just be a stopgap pending purchase of a new
PC.

TIA,
