Default How do I solve "no disk in the drive" error on starting Outlook?

We solved this problem by erasing all the folders that contained a path
referring to the removable drive. However, we're not sure why those folders
appeared in the first place. We never could find the Outlook data files in
the control panel as some other posts suggested, but maybe we were using a
different version of Windows/Office (XP, and Office 2000 Professional).

After I downloaded the 2002 update for Outlook, every time I start the
program I get a message saying "Windows- No Disk" "There is no disk in the
drive. Please insert a disk into drive ." It doesn't specify a drive. If I
click Cancel four times, it goes away. But the whole system is unstable
since the download. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks.
