I read a previous posting you had done
regarding this, but was unsure of process of merging. I have the
duplicate remover program.

Open the contacts folder you'll eventually delete and view it in a table
view like By Catgeory. Select all the items in it and press CTRL-A to
select them all. Right-click and drag the selection to the contacts folder
you want to keep or click EditCopy to Folder. When the copy completes,
deletre the source folder and run your duplicate checker.
