Outlook 2003 does not recognize my profile
What happens when you click the To button to address email?
Rather than delete the profile and recreate it, make a new one with a new
name. See if you get the same error.

I have correctly created my email account settings in Outlook and have
verified that they are correct with my ISP. (I am using dial-up still, and
those setting appear to be correct as well.) Here is what happens: When I
send a test email, Outlooks says everything is successful; in fact, I can
find the test email on my alternate mail program that was provide by my
ISP.
Yet, each time I click on the send/receive button in Outlook, I keep
getting
the following message: "Operation failed. An object could not be found."
In
addition, when I create a new email and click send, the email just sits
in
my outbox. As a result, I can neither send nor receive emails. (I only
have
one profile for my mail program and have deleted the it and recreated it
several times.) What should I do to fix resolve this?
