On return to this newsgroup after a long absence through illness from
computer, just horrified to read OE no longer supported at Microsoft.
Should I be changing to Outlook or what? & would that involve a great deal
of re-learning for this ageing 'silver surfer', using Windows XP home
edition?
No need to panic, not supported does not mean "dead", it means that MS are
developing a new Operating System to take over from XP, called Windows
Vista, that has a new mail client called Windows Mail, very similar to OE,
it is available for testing
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvist...y/default.mspx
Do not install on your main machine!!
Windows updates will still offer security patches but possibly no bug fixes
for OE?
