You could use a .prf file to deploy the profile for that user. Microsoft uses text files with a .prf extension and a highly structured format to provide information to OUtlook that enables Outlook to create or modify a mail profile. You can create such .prf files with the Custom Installation Wizard or Custom Maintenance Wizard tools in the Office Resource Kit. For more details, including a variety of .prf deployment methods, read the excellent white paper "Configuring Outlook Profiles by Using a PRF File" at

The page at

I have a tablet PC running WinXP Tablet with Outlook 2003. This tablet will
connect to our exchange server via VPN. How can I set it up so that everyone
that logs onto their account can access one (the same) email account. The
problem is that I dont know at this point all of the users however anyone
using the tablet will use one generic email account. So how can I set
Outlook to default to this account so that no matter who logs on they will
use this account?
Thanks!
