A friend is running Win XP and OE6 for e mail. She could not open a .pps

message that her security level does not allow her to open the message.
How do I lower her security controls in OE6? Thanks
OE isn't involved in opening the .pps file. That's why you had to get the
viewer app. Perhaps the author of that .pps file decided to add a password
to protect it. Have her ask the sender if they password protected the .pps
file. I have Powerpoint so there is no point in installing the viewer, so I
don't know if perhapst the viewer won't prompt for the password.

You never mentioned from WHERE you obtained the vaguely described "pps file
viewer" application. Was it Microsoft's PowerPoint Viewer 2007?
