good tips on the address book issue... thanks

Interesting news in regards to the export procedures in Outlook. I have been transferring, archiving, troubleshooting, etc... pst files for awhile now and was able to always export pst files to use them as a main pst. Now I know why it always did not work.... Is auto archive a full pst? My major concern is that I seldom run across an 8GB+ pst files. Since some of these users are dependent on the old e-mail, I export/archive by year to a separate pst then burn to CD. This leaves me with having to compact/re-build the original. Is there a better way to archive old pst files? or backup pst files ? MS Exchange is not an option.
