Default Reset an Outlook 2003 Profile

Thanks Brian,

As I said in my initial post, I didn't delete the Contacts folder
(impossible) but I did delete the contacts inside the Contacts folder and
the sub-folders beneath.
I'll try what you tell me at the end of your post, as soon as I'm back to my
client.

Many thanks

Nicolas

I have a few issues dealings with Contacts in the Outlook client of
one user.

He had a Contacts folder with sub-folders. We deleted this contacts,
and sub-folders as well, to move them to somewhere else (in a Public
folder, in order to share them with other users).

There is absolutely no way you should have been able to delete the

Contacts
folder (Outlook should have complained and refused to delete it) and

putting
them in a public folder is only one way to share them. He could also have
shared his own Contacts folder.

The issue is that when this user creates a new message, by doing New
Message, and then clicking on the TO: field, the Contacts sub-folders
are still visible - but empty of course, and popping a warning
whenever you try to select them.

Is it possible to get rid of this weird view, without wiping out the
Windows NT user profile wich is fastidious (mainly for the user...).
