Default Outlook backups

Thanks for the reply. Presumably the Microsoft add-in is not a lot of use.

You want a simple answer? Here you go:

Close Outlook. Copy the .pst to your preferred location. Done.

After furious head scratching, John Nice asked:

| I use Outlook 2003 SP3 under XP Pro SP3 fully patched. Following a
| recent near-disaster I thought I would backup my Outlook to my second
| (D:\) disk. But despite me specifying in the backup to use
| D:\outlookbackup folder, backup always tries to use the default .pst
| location on the C: drive. Any ideas, please how I may secure my
| backup data?
|
| TIA
|
| John
