Default Auto Complete

They have, and I told you where to look. Outlook's not exiting cleanly is
the cause of the problem.

Honestly, I can't find any common theme. Sometimes they are global
address
contacts that don't repopulate, sometimes they are in my contacts,
sometimes
neither. It appears they will stay in there for a day but then I have to
retype them in the next day. Really strange. Our IT people didn't know
either. That's why I thought I'd try asking in a forum in case any one
else
has had the same experience.

So this is just completely random? No rhyme or reason to which recipients
are saved and which are not? That defies reality and of course is
impossible
to solve without more information. The only time Outlook fails to save
recipients to the autocompletion cache is when it fails to exit
correctly.

Auto complete has worked perfectly for the last few years. Then we
switched
servers and IT had to reinstall outlook because it was not functioning
properly. Now Auto complete doesn't seem to save all the e-mail
addresses
I
type. It saves some but not others. Any idea why this is happening or
how
i
can fix it? Unfortunately, I've come to rely on Auto Complete for my
day
to
day activities.
