It could be an exchange configuration - they may be stripping TNEF data to
internet addresses. Try selecting the appointment and using Actions, Forward
as iCalendar.

I am able to send a distribution list and a calendar appointment FROM
home TO work and drag and drop those email attachments to the contacts
folder and the calendar. Everything works just fine.

something that I can drag and drop to my home contacts folder and my
home calendar.

Is there some setting on the Exchange server or my work workstation that
would enable me to forward those items to my home system?
