Default Can't remove old Hotmail account from Outlook 2007

Close Outlook. Go to control panel, mail and open the profile. Is the
hotmail email account listed? If not, I recommend making a new profile,
although you can delete it from the registry - its under Windows Messaging
Subsystem.

I have a folder listing under a cancelled hotmail account in my Mail
Folders. I right click to close and it tells me I have to go to Account
Settings and kill the account on the Mail tab. The Account isn't there.
Every time I go to ..../Local/Microsoft/Outlook and kill the PSTs manually
it reinstates them. How do I get rid of this non-existent account?

Win 7 64 bit
Outlook 2007

Thanks.

Rikk
