Default Outlook 2007 with Outlookconnector & windows live account

This is not an issue with the Outlook Connector. You currently have Outlook
configured with an Exchange account.
You can remove this Exchange account from your mail profile via the Mail
applet in Control Panel.

It might be easier to remove the mail profile entirely and then simply start
Outlook. When prompted to add an account, select that you want to do that
manually and for the account type choose Other. Here you'll find the option
to add an Outlook Connector account.

I have purchased a new laptop which has vista installed and am trying to
get
outlook to work with my windows live email account.
Have downloaded outlookconnector but now when I open outlook, I get the
configuring outlook accounts pop up then 2 error messages as follows:
"The connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be
online or connected to complete this action"
"Cannot open your default email folders.
C:\Users\myname\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\ou tlook.ost is not an
offline
account"
When these boxes are OKd, Outlook then closes.
I have tried uninstalling outlookconnector and outlook, then installing
them
again but still have the same problem.
My daughter has managed to get Outlook to work without this problem.
Any suggestions??
