My phone is HTC touch pro with Windows mobile 6.1. I contacted HTC first.
They said they did not support Windows software. My brother can watch me
travel on his phone as I am on the road. He tracked me down at my
location.
I asked him how he knew I where I was. He showed me on his HTC Touch Pro.
Go to start, contacts, tap on the person you want, tap on menu in bottom
right corner, he tapped on show on map (Towards the bottom of the list).
When I tried to locate him, show on map from the contact list on my HTC
Touch Pro was faded, disabled. He only had his phone for 2 days. We both
have Bing (Live Search) from Microsoft. I checked out my location
setting.
It is on. I tried other people in my list and none are enabled. He tried
in
his list and he could locate his wife which she does not have the same
phone
as ours. Everybody in his list is disabled accept me and his wife He can
track us? I figured seeing how he can locate me I should be able to
locate
him? I also have google maps in which he does not. I removed google maps
which did not change anything. I installed google maps 3.0. Still no
change. I don't know what it takes to enable show on map for anyone in my
contact list.
