Brian, Milly, and DL[_2_]:
Thank you all for your very appreciated responses from which I have "learned." Apparently, a few years ago, when I was using Office 2003 and regularly getting delivery receipts, I was just lucky that the recipient's server didn't strip them out. Back then, I was receiving delivery receipts for nearly all email where I selected to receive one. Apparently, now using Office Outlook 2007, more servers are stripping out the delivery receipt request, resulting in my not receiving a single one where requested. This has caused me to revert back to Eudora Version 6, with the MSGTAG provision that enables non-participating delivery receipts with an instant pop-up and a follow-up email stating the exact date and time my email was opened. I was simply trying to find another email client that would do this since Eudora is no longer being made or supported. THERE EXISTS a non-participating delivery receipt system:

Thank you again for your valuable responses and please accept my best wishes for your personal health and happiness.
Tom
