Using Outlook 2003 SP3. After having Outlook open for several hours it

Outlook and then restarting it fixes the problem, other times I have to
reboot.

My internet connection is stable and is working fine at the time that I
cant
send. I can ping the SMTP server. I have tried a different SMTP server.

Any ideas?
