Default create folder on local drive

It would depend on what kind of messages you put in there. If they hold 5MB
attachments, then something could be wrong indeed.
Verify that you are looking at the correct file, you might need to refresh
your Explorer screen if you are looking at it simultaneously.

Note that there could be a write delay. If you close Outlook, does the file
size show correctly after a few minutes then?

Also not sure if it is working as I created the *.pst file that is a size
of
265k. I then added a bunch of stuff into this folder but the folder
remained
the same size.
Thanks.

Assuming your administrator allows it, go to File, New, Outlook data
file.

Hi I am using Outlook (SP3) that comes with office 2003. Anyhow just
wondering if you can create a folder to place older emails that resides
on
the local machine as our email server only allows a small amount of
memory
for each user.
Thanks Paul.
