View | Current View. Make sure Show All Messages is the only option checked.
View | Layout. Compare the settings with the other identity.
If you accidentally click on the column names at the top of the columns,
Subject, Sent, etc., that will change the settings.
If the problem persists, then you probably do have a corrupt identity.
You may have a damaged identity especially if it is the default Main
Identity. File | Identity | Add New Identity. Create a new one and test it.
If all is well, you can import your messages and Address Book from the old
identity and delete it.
Note: Do not use the word Main in the name of the new identity.

Hi,
I' have an odd issue with OE6 where, when I open it, quite often the most
recent email at the top will be from some random date in the past. If I
shut
down OE, wait a while, and reopen it the problem may reoccur OE6 might
open
correctly where the the email at the top is from the current day. The
problem
can also occur when OE6 opens normally, but I click on a folder other than
the inbox and then back to the inbox. Suddenly the email at the top is
from
some random date in the past again.
Interestingly, we have two identities on this machine, and the problem
never
occurs with the other identity. I'm guessing something's corrupt, but I
hesitate to delete anything.
Has anyone seen this and does anyone know how to fix it? Thanks!
Gordon
