Smooth and powerful. Nicest hand mixer I've owned. The separate on/off button and digital power control takes getting use too after a manual adjuster that does both. Not light weight so not for those with arthritis or difficulty holding onto heavy objects. I would purchase this mixer again. It makes the best whipped cream with the special whisk attachment.
Thai is an absolutely great product. I read many reviews before purchase and it was highly rated. Good power. The slow start feature is great when you are mixing dry ingredients into wet. Seven speeds are a plus. Does not bog down even when mixing bread dough. Good product.
My old hand-held mixer died and I was surprised to find some new features in this pretty-basic appliance. I like the "slow start" so the batter doesn't go flying out when the beaters come on. The cord also swivels out of the way so you set the mixer down on the counter firmly.
considering the cache from the brand name I did expect better. Unfortunately I lost my old Sunbeam hand mixer from an era when a brand name meant something.. This one seems ok since I won't use it much.. but the eject button is indeed flimsy.. and while all tarted up with all the whiz bang electronics, they interfere with the grip and overall the handle does not rest in the hand quite the way it should. also the beaters on my old Sunbeam had some heft to them.. while these appear a bit anemic considering the price,,, OK for now and then use but over all quality of most everything we buy has slid downhill over the past decade... PRICE has been GOD too long at the expense of quality. Just because it beeps and blinks does not necessarily make it better.
Very simply put I thoroughly enjoy using this mixer -- it is easy and quiet to use. Very enjoyable.
The Cuisinart Power Advantage 7 Speed Hand Mixer, flawlessly and easily mixes even the heaviest ingredients. From dense cookie dough to whipped cream, the powerful motor with automatic feedback can perform any mixing task. And the slide control easily shifts speeds with just one touch!
