Default Forward Distribution List to other user

Thanks Russ! That is not the way I remember doing it, but just did an
experiment and it worked fine! I haven't needed to do this in such a long
time I guess I jst forgot. I'm so glad we've got this forum!!! It has saved
my sanity more than once!! Thanks again!!

There is and always has been only one supported method to transfer a DL via
email. You attach it as an Outlook Item to a message in RTF format.

I'm now using Outlook 2007. In the 2003 version we could send other people
a
distribution list by going up to Actions and Forward. THe other person
could
then open it and drag the list into Contacts. A friend just sent me some
lists she created in 2003 and when I open it there's nothing there. I
tried
just dragging the attachment over like I'm used to doing, but the only
thing
there is the info on the person sending it----NO actual list....Do any of
you
have any ideas on this? Oh, btw---I tried doing a Save As and it saves
as
an "outlook item".....not as a pst or any other definitive extension
indicating a Contact item. I really need these emails----any help you can
give will be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!
