How to safely - to get back to a single identity & address book?
One step at a time. Is the current identity you are using the only one you
want? Then go to Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store Folder and write down
the GUID, (long string of letters and numbers).
Go back to the path you found and each identity will have its own GUID. Find
the one with the matching letters and numbers and delete all but that one.

I need only a single OE identity & address book.
I have only one ID in OE (File/Identities) but my OE maintenance store
location tree contains several old IDs besides my current one. (I'd like
to
delete the old, unused IDs from the explorer tree - but not when I cannot
predict the results.)
Furthermore - OE does not access my current address book that I managed
recently to fully recover. It presents me with obsolete WAB files only.
(What a weird, frustrating situation!)
So - is there a protocol that will simplify my OE by:
1. Restablishing a single OE ID - with all my current IE folders still
intact?
2. Allowing me to replace all existent WAB files (if necessary) with my
RestoredAddressBook.wab - so that IE will access only that one, single WAB
file?
Thanks - Blithe
