Default auto complete name order

All explained in that article: the letter you type must exist as the first
letter of either the name or the alias for autocompletion to find it in the
cache.

OK so auto complete doesn't use the contacts folder but the NK2 file. How
does the data get into the NK2 file. Presumably if I can change the
format
of the data before it goes in that would fix the problem.

If you read the algorithm I posted, you can figure out what's going on.

At work auto complete works with the last name. So obviously it can
work
that way. But I don't know how to make it work that way here at home.

You can't change how autocomplete works. Best simply to figure it out
and
use it the way it works:

I have to type names in first last order in order for auto complete
to
find
them. How do I change it so I can type last name, first name and
have
auto
complete work? I already have file as set to last, first but that
doesn't
seem to affect it.
