Default Outlook wont open, process running

Have you looked at the shortcut and verified it's a valid shortcut? Is
outlook open or closed when you try to open it from other programs (using
the File, Send to menu?). If outlook is closed, look in Tasks manager to
verify it is closed.

No mesage is received. The cusor appears that it is reacting and then
nothing
occurs. After this happend the only way I can open Outlook is to reboot.
Other Office components appear to be not affected.

I have a problem with Outlook 2003. It opens quite well when I first
boot
up,
but the fails either from the shortcut on the toolbar or directly
through
programs.

Fails in what manner? If you receive any error messages, what is the
exact
text? Is anything written to the Event log?
