If you want to be able to see the data on both machines, then both must
leave a copy on the server. One (or both), however, should be configured to
delete the messages from the server when Deleted Items is emptied and
consider configuring one to remove messages from the server after a certain
number of days. Choose a number that exceeds the inverval between
subsequent uses of either PC. Of course, if you want your server to retain
messages indefinitely, then don't configure this. Periodically, though,
you'll need to connect to the server and delete unneeded messages or you
risk running out of server space. Many ISPs impose a limit on how much you
can retain in the mailbox.
