It may be a coincidence, but this happened to me shortly after I installed
Business Contact Manager. *What add-ins are you running?

Hello,

my problem is as follows:

I have created appr 10 macros to navigate quickly around Outlook 2007.
Quite simple VBA macros, which I have copied off a colleague and re-
used (I have no VBA programming knowledge myself). That works fine,
allowing me to jump from folder to folder, apply views etc by the push
of a toolbar button - and even a alt+shortcut.

About two months ago, suddenly all my macros were disabled. Ie, when I
press the button on the toolbar, the macros does not run. I found out
that this was because in the trust center, the macro setting had been
reset to 'warnings for signed macros; all unsigned macros are
disabled'. So I put the setting back to 'no security check for macros
(not recommended). I restarted Outlook (another problem; these days it
is not enough to just close Outlook - I have to go into task manager
to end the process as well) - and the macros worked fine again.

Now, my problem is that every time I then shut my computer down and
restarts the day after, my setting is back to 'warnings for all
signed....' - and I have to run through the above procedure to get my
toolbar shortcuts working again ! It's annoying having to do every
time I reboot my computer - and I can't find which part of the MS
world it is that resets my macro security setting all the time,
without asking me.

Can anyone outthere help me ? I have run through the various posts
here and also googled the topic, but cannot find a solution. If more
information about my settings, software, computer etc is needed, pls
let me know.

Oh, unfortunately I'm using a number of add-ins. Jeyo Mobile Extender,
MindManager, Outlook Hotmail Connector, LinkedIn. I used to also have
the Plaxo add-in, but have un-installed that one.

Anything that seems out of the way there for you ? Why would any of
the add-ins automatically change this setting ?
