I am having the same problem as JSBS. It all worked. Then it didn't.
Then
it did. Now it doesn't. I can see the account under options. But the
links
to click on so I can actual send an sms message aren't there anymore.
When
it was working, I set up some reminder messages to be sent to my own
phone.
I'm still receiving those.

Has anyone fixed this problem???

I have the same problem as MarkW, except that my SMS from Outlook 2007
was
working properly. However, at some point the OMS features have
disapeared.
There is no option in the 'New' pull down menue to creat a new SMS
message,
there is no SMS option under the 'Forward' command, etc. The only thing
that
is visible is my account with SureM and associated details. This is
accessed
in the usual way through the 'Tools' menue, from where I can successfully
send a test message to my mobile phone!

My 'Mobile Address Book' is fine.

I have added an OMS account and sent a test message from the Accounts
set up area no problem. I shut down and restarted Outlook 2007 as
instructed but no matter what I do I cannot find a Text Message
option
in the "New" drop down or from the "File/New" on the Menu????

How did you add this "OMS account" and what service does it reference?
Can
you post the account settings?

I can see the account under the options if I go to create a new email
account but if I try typing in a mobile number it just refuses to do
anything.

Anyone have any ideas? I have searched MS help and Google without any
luck.

An associated but possibly unrelated issue is that I cannot see a
Mobile address book, even though it is showing up if I go into
"Tools/
Options/Data Files/Address books"

Outlook doesn't really have any "address books". Address books are
services
that reference things like Contacts folders or LDAP servers and convert
the
data in the reference to a form Outlook can use. Perhaps if you tell
is how
you added and configured the "Mobile address book", we can help. Is
there
some phone app you've installed?
