Hyperlinks using Firefox
Are you sure Firefox was the "default browser"?
That seems to be a different concept from simply being the program used to
open html, etc, file types. That's the "file association".

used when I'd click on an html file on my desktop, say -- but whenever I'd
click on a link in email (OE) it would try to open with old version and
generate an error message.
Problem was solved when in Firefox (1.04) I did
ToolsOptionsGeneral, Default Browser
Far as I can figure there is no direct way for the user to set the "default
browser", you have to depend on a program such as Firefox or IE (there's
apparently even a utility DefaultBrowser from snapfile that does just this
:-).

When I have IE set as my default browser, the links in OE work fine.
However, when I have firefox as my default browser, they don't work at
all. Any ideas?
