Default Outlook fails to actually "exit"

Hi....

I have had this problem for a certian periode of time, and have tried many
approaches to solve it.
However....
Last week I shut down Skype because the installation of Wamp Server said
something is blocking port 80, and suggested that the purpetrator was Skype.
Since then no problem shutting down Outlook 2007
It has behaved well...

Hope this can help...

Hi all. I'm running Outlook 2003 on XP Pro, and recently when I exit
outlook either via the X in the corner or File - Exit, the program
disappears from my desktop and systray, but actually remains TSR as a
running process. This is a new behavior/problem and is really causing me
headaches.

Has anyone seen this before? Is there a way to correct it?

I tried running the re-install/repair process with my Office 2003
installation CD, but I'm getting an error saying that the installation
source can't be found (????? - isn't it on the CD in the drive??) so I
dont' know if its hung upon a CAB somewhere or what. Probably completely
unrelated problem [sigh]

Any help or direction would be appreciated.
