Default Share Outlook 2003 Calendar with Distribution List

you can't share with a DL list in your contacts, you can share with a DL
list in the GAL (exchange server global address list). However - sharing
non-default calendars in Outlook is convoluted - its best to set up a
resource mailbox or public folder.

Hello,

I use Outlook 2003 at my job. I have created a new Calendar folder
that will be used to keep track of a conference room usage. I would
like to share the calendar with a group from My Contacts. However,
when I right click and choose the Permissions tab, I can only grant
permission to an individual person. I cannot access My Contacts list
to choose a distribution that I created. Is it possible to share a
calendar with a distribution group? As a side note, I cannot install
any special software that isn't pre-approved by my company.

Thanks!
