Default Syncing phone calendar to a created Outlook calendar

Synching always uses the default calendar unless you use a third party application like Chapura (I think). Or it may be Intellisync - I use the one default calendar and have items categorized for simplicity sake so I don't need third party synch programs.

To copy your items from the General Calendar to the default calendar, you must first display your General Calendar by a table view like Category, then select all and either right click and drag to the default calendar (select "copy") or File-Copy to Folder and select your default Calendar folder.

The Outlook calendar that I want to appear on my phone is not the default
Outlook "Calendar", but one I created and named "General Calendar". Is there
a way to tell either Outlook and/or ActiveSync to get "General Calendar"
rather than the default? Alternatively, I tried copying "General Calendar"
to the default "Calendar", but no entries showed up in "Calendar". Any idea
what I did wrong? Thank you.
