Hello,

I access 2 mailboxes through my outlook. * I access them through the
same profile so that I dont have to shutdown and restart outlook to
change the mailboxes.

One of the mailbox is my personal one and outlook properly caches it
and I can observe that accessing it is very fast.

However, the 2nd mailbox is a shared mailbox ( other users also access
this mailbox through their outlook client). *It seems it is not cached
because accessing this mailbox is terribly slow. *Is there any extra
setting to be done to have this cached too ? *( I have ensured that
the "use cached exchange mode" is ticked for both the mailboxes in the
tools - email accounts *section.

No, you can't cache your non-primary mailbox, unfortunately. You could use
OWA to access it, which might be faster....

Pls help. * Also, *i am not able to find any .ost file on my entire
hard disk.

Untick the box that says "hide hidden/system files & folders" in your
Windows Explorer settings.- Hide quoted text -

Hello,
What do you mean by non-primary mailbox. Is it possible for me to
make the shared mailbox primary or any other suitable modification so
that I can cache...
If this is impossible, then can i have a local .pst file that is
automatically copied all the emails from this non-primary mailbox ?
Right now, I do it manually, but not able to find any setting that
will do this replication automatically, of course without deleting the
mails at the server side because others sharing it need it there too
